Context: A patient’s relationship with their primary care physician (PCP) or advanced practice provider (APP) is instrumental in their healthcare journey. We also calculated the number of PCPs/APPs seen over 1- and 5-year intervals. Results: 43% of designated providers were from non-primary care specialties.

If we can be a little bit more holistic and think through what are the medicines that are going to provide the greatest bang for your buck and get rid of the stuff that probably isn’t going to do anything. They may have a long relationship with that cardiologist, so it requires some collaboration. I don’t know.
