We can train medical students and residents about geriatrics without geriatricians. We can change healthcare systems and improve the care of older adults without geriatricians. And same with what we’re learning from the residents and the medical students that are joining. I don’t think you should.

The results were that the chat bots got the diagnoses right and had an escalation strategy that was better than the doctors, as judged by blinded specialists reading the transcripts.
