Rather they’re Ill, maybe they’re aging unsuccessfully, but never really resilient. How do you maintain successful aging, which is often free of disease or illness or disability? Anyone with neurologic illnesses, I think all of you know, too much socialization is like, stop. It is progressive. There is no cure.

Wait, so one key message is that social health is linked to physical and cognitive health?!? I think part of this does stem from a clinical experience and also some of the theoretical models that have evolved around serious illness, you know, to think specifically about dementia. And the government can do something about that?!?
