In fact, I enjoy patients who are engaged in their care and ask questions. I enjoy seeing patients for all kinds of visits as well – mental health, physicals, GYN concerns, coughs/colds, etc. Why Do I Need a Primary Care Physician? Like yourself, when I was a resident, and pain has been shaped in our mind as being a purely physical sensation, especially on the clinical side, where this idea that pain is complex and that pain is as much an emotion as much as physical sensation is not really something we are trained to do. Haider: That was a great story.
