Research has associated telehealth interventions with reduced self-reported smoking during pregnancy, reduced risk of gestational hypertension, and continuation of breastfeeding. Further, lower insurance reimbursement rates can limit its clinical use. For example, telehealth was not viewed as user friendly for clinical use.
