At the time, it was determined that I had broken my finger, and a treatment plan would be implemented once I was seen by Dr. Varhan. Since my injury was an open break and a temporary pin placement, I was transferred upstairs to the Medical/Surgical floor where I had to stay overnight for observation and more antibiotics.
