I interacted with Sound clinicians during my residency, and seeing the impact they had on the patients and hospital leadership was inspiring. I think that, as Ramona will talk about and elucidate a bit further, is just a recognition that in this country we have traditionally, and to my mind continue to do so, cause serious harm to Black people, that you can see that play out within healthcare in ways that are both big and small.
