In the Netherlands GPs are also responsible for cardiovascular risk management (CVRM), for which a guideline is made. Patients with a registered depression were compared to two controls. If you’re a 4th year medical student who is unmatched at this point, my advice is the following: Focus on securing a one year preliminary or transitional year position! What if I fail to match into any position? Urgent care work definitely isn’t for everyone though.
