Reviews were identified through a search of scientific electronic databases: MEDLINE, CINAHL, PsycInfo, AMED, Healthcare Administration Database, ABI/INFORM Collection, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Epistemonikos, and Scopus. A patient partner from the Deaf community collaborated on each step of this project.
