Pregnant with her second child, she schleps a backpack instead of a traditional black bag to carry a laptop and essential medical supplies — stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, and pulse oximeter. She enjoyed talking with the half dozen other residents at her adult family home in Washington state.

Pat Connolly & Cortney Linville who attended the AAFP Family Medicine Advocacy Summit in Washington May 19-21.
