In further contrast to the United States, MAID in Canada is almost entirely administered by a clinician, whereas in the United States patients must self administer. And importantly the patient has to have capacity and they have to be able to take the drug themselves. AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s) ™. But that was separate from MAID.
