In medicine, combating illness requires primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. Secondary prevention reduces impact of established illness (antidepressants). Let’s not waver on the truth.

Febrile seizures are due to the degree of fever, not the rate of temperature rise, even though we see them as the temperature is increasing rapidly in the early parts of the illness. The majority of children have febrile seizures on the first day of illness. In some cases, it’s actually their first manifestation of illness.
