Suddenly, my job as an ER physician was boring. I know there are many more invasive procedures we perform in the ER that could be considered similar, but I couldn't think of them quickly enough. Of explaining findings of the exam, of the testing and procedures to be done and the ensuing results, and of a plan moving forward.
