I think sometimes we don’t necessarily realize the importance in the role that each of us individually as physicians can have with patients both within the exam room but also globally.

If we move away from clinician referrals as the means by which people get access, how do we keep the clinicians engaged, and not enraged? Should we just use the referrals, whatever’s coming into us, whoever, whatever clinician decides. By diagnosis?

I don’t know if we captured where the hospice referral came from. So the problem of, hey, look at us, we promise we’ll be helpful.
