Part of it’s what Mike was saying, it’s accountability as a country, as a nation and as the government. This is a problem that’s existed for decades. What are they accountable for?

I think to some extent, the county doesn’t necessarily know what they don’t know about geriatrics, just like I don’t necessarily know what I don’t know about the county and local government and national government and state government. We’re in about year two right now.

We were the highest utilizers of telemedicine in the whole UCSF health system at that time which we’re very proud of. So if you count talking to a nurse on the telephone and then writing an electronic prescription as a form of telemedicine, that was the norm for hospice prescribing of controlled substances even before the pandemic.
