I talk to women 75 and older or something like it’s my job as your PCP to recommend tests that I think will lead to more good than to harm. And so we recruited 546 women and they were from 137 different PCPs. And so then they saw their PCP. We did email PCPs that they would be coming in early for the study.

And I think one key part is educating the field, not just my fellow cardiologists, but also primary care doctors, geriatricians, that there’s this heart failure syndrome that is kind of sneaky, and it’s kind of difficult to diagnose any. They may have a long relationship with that cardiologist, so it requires some collaboration.
