We advocated for the Resident Education Deferred Interest (REDI) Act (HR 1202 / S794). This bill would preclude the government from charging interest on their loans during when they are unable to afford payments on the principal. Many patients cannot afford the upfront costs of these shots, and compliance with much needed care suffers.
