Objective: To determine medical trainees’ perspectives on current NBM practices and on narrative humility, and to assess their views on the effectiveness of NBM education via peer-led interactive workshop. Results: 31 out of the 33 respondents (93.9%) agreed that the workshop provided them with new knowledge about NBM.

Context: University of Utah’s Department of Family and Preventive medicine's (DFPM) strategic plan was revised in 2021 to increase equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across missions. Two modules occurred virtually, two modules were in-person, and the curriculum culminated at the DFPM department retreat with a workshop.
