Essentially we’re testing the early integrated palliative care model, which is monthly visits with a specialty trained palliative care physician or advanced practice provider for patients who are diagnosed with advanced non small cell lung cancer. The patient refuses to ever talk about the fact that this illness could take their life.

Emmy: So that older person or person with maybe terminal illness or developing impairments, it might make sense for them to just keep driving because they don’t have a good replacement. So we’re trying to help replace the transportation option.
