In our third segment, we explore Amy Linskys study that examined the effect of patient-directed educational materials on clinician deprescribing of potentially low-benefit or high-risk medications, such as proton pump inhibitors, high-dose gabapentin, or risky diabetes medications. So we’re still trying to figure that out.

Bill 16:55 First of all, I just have to go back to Dax, because Dax in 1973 is when I first came out here as a senior medical student and met Al Johnson. He was a terrible diabetic. And it’s not the same, but it does provide information. And I followed that story ever since. His hands were gone.
