Why would CBT work for neuropathic pain and diabetes differently than it would work for neuropathic pain and cancer? Most palliative care clinicians would refer back to their primary care provider and not change their hydrochlorothiazide dose or add another agent. Why would that be? But alcohol and opioids are up there.
