We are Seeing referrals at an earlier time point, especially at a point that I feel that I can really help a patient. Most palliative care clinicians would refer back to their primary care provider and not change their hydrochlorothiazide dose or add another agent. Even if the cancer gets cured, they’re not going to become their buprenorphine prescriber, the palliative care consultant. Most oncologists would say no.
