In terms of qualitative findings, clinicians were highly satisfied with ECHO Concussion, sharing that the program helped them stay on top of current evidence and better utilize resources and guidelines. Conclusion Concussion management is complex and ECHO Concussion can be beneficial for frontline clinicians.

Developing an intervention to assist older patients communication with their GP practice after discharge from hospital [Community based participatory research]

Context In the post-discharge period from hospital acute inpatient care, the older patient is at risk from a lack of joined-up care. Though patients/carers are often copied in, they seldom get a plain English version or space to discuss its contents. A subset of ~24 patients/their carers will be interviewed.

Using eConsult to access specialist advice for persons living with dementia - A cross-sectional analysis [Geriatrics]

Travel to see consultants can be disorienting and difficult for persons living with dementia (PLWD). We provide descriptive statistics of the service utilization and taxonomy results. Results: PCPs’ questions were directly related to the patient’s dementia in 30% of community cases (n=29), compared to 15% in LTC (n=8).
