So she bled a lot and finally called for help and was transferred to the hospital, where she started crashing in the trauma room. She didn’t die in the hospital.

Alex: Yeah, we talk a lot about de-skilling in geriatrics and palliative care, because so much of what we do is a consultant role. At the Mayo clinic, for example, they’ve got a very robust hospital at home program. I think a lot of back office function, predicting ER loads and OR loads to do better scheduling of staff.
