During my training, I didn’t receive much education about radiation oncology, and I’m not entirely sure what some of the terms mean (hypofractionated means fewer sessions, right?). Anish 07:54 I would say sort of echoing what Emily was just referring to is education is key. So I think education is key.

Alex: Also, I’ll say that on in my clinical practice doing palliative care consults, on the last time I was on service, I resolved to ask each patient, who could answer, which is a subset of the patients who I see, if they were lonely. The idea of listening with your ear, so E being educate, A, assess, and R, respond.
