Alex: We’ve got a lot to talk about…what states are doing and cities are doing to support older adults in the community. It was designed to really balance what Medicaid at the time was to provide nursing homes and Medicare is obviously health insurance. But, what you need is a community-based game there.

And really they’re trying to understand what reasonable quality of life can this person expect to achieve and just agonizing over those decisions, over every individual decision. My guess is out in the community there’s more pressure to initiate dialysis for various reasons. Do we do antibiotics or no antibiotics?
