There were a number of opportunities to be involved in medical oncology and doing medical oncology rotations as a medical student, as an internal medicine residential. And sort of a few years ago, we would sometimes see referrals a bit later than we would have liked. There really was very little. So I think education is key.

And we got this as a hospice referral, and could we, you know, take her on and support her in hospice? Who do you give informed consent to? This is just because this arose organically in clinical practice as a way of balancing these underlying competing ethical issues. And honestly, this was not a well planned out thing.
