Most ACE units had the bedside nurse, the physical therapist, a social worker, a case manager, and then differences in a lot of other people, chaplains, nurse practitioners, the primary teams. And then within those interdisciplinary rounds there were differences in who was at rounds. Kellie: Yeah, totally agree.

Substance use disorder is one of those complex issues in which clinical practice is changing rapidly. I remember as a fellow, I would come in and our nurse practitioner on our hospice team, I would say the word narcotics, and f or half an hour, she would just lay into me.
