What hasn’t been shown, Eric, is that if you apply tools like this, clinical outcomes down the road are better for patients. They’re dedicated, committed, they’re there for their patients and they understand it’s really important. So how can we make it more integrated with other activities in the clinic?

What we did was ask clinicians earlier in the ICU stay for very sick patients to document prognosis, and for those who they thought would survive, to document six-month functional prognosis.
