And then the family tells me they can’t keep an appointment, they can’t manage their finances. That is enough for me that I would want them to come to my clinic where I have a neuropsychologist that’s gonna conduct a 50 minute thorough cognitive assessment. We save healthcare. Well, there’s my complaint.

It does seem that if communities, particularly historically marginalized communities, are interested in ACP, that fact should carry some weight in how resources are allocated to research and health care financing. And I know a lot of our social work colleagues and our nurses, I think at least in our practice, do a lot more of that.
