Was there any mention about the impact that hearing loss has in communication or what we should do about it in clinical practice? Screening for addressing hearing loss should be an integral part of what we do in geriatrics and palliative care, but it often is either a passing thought or completely ignored. I’m guessing not.

If I remember correctly, I think the average was, people were screening positive for depression in this study. ABIM MOC credit will be offered to subscribers in November, 2024.

I, for example, had one patient, I remember during my fellowship, I was in geriatrics clinic and had a very well read patient who came in and was reading a New York Times article, I think in the well section at one point.
