So, if it’s a hospitalized patient, usually the referral will come through to the SLP service. So, the consult will come in and then we’ll do what we call a clinical bedside evaluation, where we’ll go and see the patient at the bedside. So, we use that information to formulate a treatment plan.

I’m sort of seeing them in clinic for consideration of palliative radiation, they have a lot going on. And sort of a few years ago, we would sometimes see referrals a bit later than we would have liked.
