Objective: Identify practice patterns of family physicians practicing within boutique clinics in Ontario. Comparatively, physicians in general practice were more likely to see patients for mental health, chronic disease, and preventive care. Results from the 2023 data update will be available for the presentation.

The context: Immigrants, particularly those moving from lower to higher-income countries, often exhibit a heightened susceptibility to non-communicable diseases, such as Type 2 diabetes (T2D), which may manifest at an earlier age and present with different complications compared to the native population.

The FamilyPso questionnaire revealed caregiver burden among partners and family members of patients with psoriasis, which could bolster shared decision making. To include partners/family/close friends is an overlooked opportunity to increase empowerment of those affected and to secure adherence. The results are very similar.
