Alex: We’ve got a lot to talk about…what states are doing and cities are doing to support older adults in the community. But, what you need is a community-based game there. The long-term care is being actually provided in the community at a much higher rate than what the formal system provides. You go back home.

So it felt like it was being part of this huge kind of change in the whole environment and the whole experience of that community. So I think I remember the early years, once this became more of a chronic disease, I would go to these ID meetings and people would be wringing their hands saying, well, I don’t know how to treat diabetes.
