I am also grateful for my family who stepped in after graduation and let my daughter come live with them so I could focus on intern year (they refused to let me move her to "dangerous" Philly lol) after not matching the first time. Later on in the month, I was able to take my daughter on a family trip to my alma mater LSU.

And that was a common experience I had in my psychiatry training, was being called to the ER to see someone who’d come in with panic. And they’re like, now we want them out of the ER, but they won’t leave. All the dangerous things had been ruled out.
