You know, we found that 64% of the people we cared for never went to the hospital or ER. The peach program and our mobile palliative care program for people experiencing structural vulnerabilities. 80% died exactly where they wanted to and 83% were reconnected to family or friends through a psychosocial support system that we put into place.

So elderly people who aspirated, got pneumonia, had an mi, didn’t get hauled off to the emergency room on an ambulance crew so they could die in the ER. He made it very clear that he called me by looking my number up in the phone book.
