I’ve never heard any of my American colleagues talk about that, although there are several articles about the connection if you Google it. I ordered some lab tests, including a sed rate. Before he ever got the test, he ended up in the emergency room with pneumonia. He thought one CT covered everything.

Some family doctors choose to do a fellowship and are trained more specifically to do more advanced surgical procedures, deliver babies (including C-sections), work on public policy and advocacy, work in an emergency room, and the list goes on.
