We got admitted to the hospital, our inpatient palliative team developed their skill set because they had a place to send patients when they got discharged. He’s now hospitalized to break up that methadone into three times a day dosing.

At the Mayo clinic, for example, they’ve got a very robust hospital at home program. And then, this little mini consultant. That makes sense. Give one to the patients. Bob: Be well.

Another thing you could do is let’s really encourage discussion ahead of time between the appointed surrogate and the patient while the patient’s competent about patients preferences about their values. We do consults all the time on these where different people will say, no, it makes sense to try. The chances are too low.
