Fed up with assembly-line medicine Dr. Wible held town hall meetings and she invited citizens in her community to design their own ideal clinic. I think it’s a label that people turn to because of mental health stigma.

Another thing you could do is let’s really encourage discussion ahead of time between the appointed surrogate and the patient while the patient’s competent about patients preferences about their values. My guess is out in the community there’s more pressure to initiate dialysis for various reasons. It may not be.
