I feel like I recognize it when I see it, but I struggle to give a clear definition or provide effective ways to address it. Karen has a Cambia Sojourns award to pilot an intervention in which Black/African American former caregivers are trained to provide peer support to current caregivers (Peer2Care). I think as researchers, we need to do our due diligence to follow that and healthcare providers, of course, ’cause we want to be sensitive.
