Representatives from the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) joined for a portion of the meeting*. This is now being reviewed by the American Board of Medical Specialties, which oversees ABIM. The following is a summary of the spring meeting.
