During my training, I didn’t receive much education about radiation oncology, and I’m not entirely sure what some of the terms mean (hypofractionated means fewer sessions, right?). I’m sort of seeing them in clinic for consideration of palliative radiation, they have a lot going on. So I think education is key.

And in addition, my work in palliative care, I also am a clinical ethicist. So the ethics is a little different, but my clinical experience is just the emotion is much higher in these instances.
