Context: Concerns about declining diversity among medical students have emerged due to the Supreme Court’s 2023 ruling against race-based affirmative action in college admissions. Medical schools must now eliminate race or ethnicity considerations, making it imperative to develop innovative approaches to preserve recent progress.

Context: The Patient Navigator Program (PNP) is a unique medical student-run program providing services for persons experiencing homelessness (PEH) in Dallas, Texas, at United Gospel Mission (UGM) clinics. Population Studied: Redcap survey responses were collected from 16 clients between 2021-2024, with 81 total goals analyzed.

At this meeting, the Geriatric Medicine Board received statistics on the current state of certification in geriatric medicine, assessment enrollment, demographics and pass rates, and data from post-assessment surveys. 4,372 of these (92%) also have a current valid certificate in Internal Medicine.
