Fellowship Training Enhances Physician-Led Laser Dermatology Care

They performed an online search and telephone survey in September 2024 to identify board-certified dermatologists who completed an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) Cosmetics and Lasers Fellowship. Physician involvement in laser procedures was higher among dermatologists (60%) than plastic surgeons (33%) and medical spas (9%).

Developing an intervention to assist older patients communication with their GP practice after discharge from hospital [Community based participatory research]

Annals of Family Medicine

Hospitals write discharge summaries to family medicine providers. Our intervention aims to assist older patients/their carers to have better communication with their family medicine provider about their care after discharge, thereby improving patient safety outcomes. A subset of ~24 patients/their carers will be interviewed.
