Objective: To assess the feasibility of implementing a lifestyle medicine program in a rural Ontario community for patients with chronic diseases. Results: Cohort one of eight participants completed CLIP-ON in April 2024. Setting: Program was conducted in Parry Sound, ON with participants recruited from the local community.

THE BLOCKBUSTER GLP-1 receptor agonists are a transformative class of medications increasingly tied to better outcomes across a variety of conditions and organ systems, not just in patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes. Published in May 2024, the FLOW trial , for instance, looked at patients with diabetes and advanced kidney disease.

He died in 2024. If you’re in the outpatient setting, Tim, and you’re seeing somebody in clinic and you’re worried that they’re heading towards a path where, you know, their chronic diseases are getting worse, we may have to make some decisions. I’m a little bit of a throwback kind of 70s 80s guy.
