Objective: Describe the trends in sickle cell admissions between Jan 2020 and Dec 2023 at an academic medical center (AMC) in Augusta, Georgia. We noted that a small number of patients are readmitted multiple times.

The only more specific guideline I could find on semaglutide for weight loss is from NICE in the UK (September 2023). Patients with heart failure show less hospital admissions improved symptoms (in correlation to their weight loss).
