As you mentioned, it was published in JAGS in 2020, and we really started from the time of inception of POLST, so in the early 1990s, up until about February 2020 was the date that we cut off. It would have a CPR section and then it would have a healthcare proxy section. I think it was Bob Lee’s 2020 JAGS paper.

It was really at the level of the ED across 33 EDs in random order, and then tried to see if we could make a difference in healthcare utilization, primarily the primary outcome was admission to the hospital, acute care admission.
