Identifying the specific type of virus that are causing a child’s symptoms, like rhinovirus vs parainfluenza, is often unnecessary, especially in otherwise healthy children who are managed at home.

As a nurse case manager in hospice, half of my patients had dementia. Nurse case management, social worker case management, medications, medical equipment, a home health aid, all that stuff goes away.
