The Impact of a Health Professions Education Program on Concussion Management: A Multi-Methods Study of ECHO Concussion [Neurologic illness]

ECHO Concussion was launched in 2019 to teach clinicians a comprehensive approach to concussion diagnosis and management. Results From November 2019 to June 2024, 636 clinicians attended ECHO Concussion sessions. The qualitative descriptive approach was used to inductively code FGD transcripts. 11 (9%) participated in FGDs.

Population Studied Population is a sample of the 2019-20 of endocrinology cases off the Champlain eConsult BASE™ system. Setting or Dataset Out of 844 size sample of endocrinology cases, our human expert annotated only 144 as true osteoporosis cases, flagged as a binary target. We took a random sample of 144 endo cases as non-osteo.

METHODS We analyzed national weekly diagnosis data for acute respiratory infections (ICD-10 codes J00-J22) in Poland from 2010 to 2019, covering all 380 county-equivalent administrative regions and encompassing 292 million consultations. Data were aggregated into age brackets.
