Tianeptine is sold in a number of countries as a government-approved treatment for depression. “You never quite know what’s in that bottle,” Dr. Diane Calello of the New Jersey Poison Information and Education System told the AP. The FDA sent a warning letter to the maker of a product called Tianna in 2018.
